Tiana teamed up with ECPAT in August '09 to record the song she wrote for the charity with the amazing producer, Bill Lefler (Ingrid Michaelson, Dashboard Confessional). The song "I Am My Own" is on Tiana's new album, "Room To Grow" and can be purchased on I-tunes. 50% of the proceeds from the song are going to ECPAT (ecpat-usa.org)- a charity dedicated to ending Child Slavery and Trafficking worldwide.

Tiana will be releasing her new EP, "Room To Grow", Friday, March 12th. To celebrate this amazing new EP Tiana will be having a CD Release Party that night at 8 p.m. at Viento Y Agua Coffee House in Long Beach (4007 E. 4th St). 
 
Tiana is releasing this EP in conjunction with her management, The Judy Stakee Co. Together, they drew upon the talent of producers Bill Lefler (Ingrid Michaelson, Dashboard Confessional) and Justin Glasco to produce and mix the EP, "Room To Grow", titled after the first track of the cd. 
 
Tiana says, "These songs are me. That's what they are. I wrote them from my heart about my life and the struggles and loves in my life including pregnancy, marriage, a first child, and just the day to day stuff. I hope they provide hope and comfort to my listeners. I can't wait to share these recordings and songs."

Well, just trying to keep everything updated is crazy. Between booking shows, practicing, writing and performing life is crazy enough (let alone living the rest of life! :) But it's hilarious how many online things you have to be a part of as a musician it really becomes another job. Twitter, facebook, myspace, reverbnation, and the list could go on forever. I'm still trying to figure out imeem. Let me know if any of you fans enjoying adding people and talking in forums and I'll hook you up with some prizes as a thank you for "talking" or blogging about me!!!!
So, besides keeping up with all that just trying to go for my daily excercises by the ocean- that's one of my favorite parts of the day and then sometimes treating myself to a latte on the way home! :) There's enough going on in life to stay busy just to be busy, so I find it important to spend time with friends and family laughing, watching movies and just hanging- lest we forget what is truly important!!!! :)

By the way I'm SOOOOOOOO excited about New Moon. I sent off my song I wrote for it last week. If for some CRAZY reason they don't use my song, I'll be releasing it, but I'm keeping it a secret for now! :)
